The global market for Hydrogen Refueling Stations (HRS) has remained at a very low level of around 25 new stations per year between 2003 and 2014. Since 2015, deployment numbers have picked up, reaching more than 100 new HRS in 2019 and again in 2020. This year, it looks like more than 125 new stations will be installed globally with more to come in the following years. This market development shows that now is the right time to develop and introduce new HRS technologies, concepts and products to the market.
