French manufacturer of compressor systems, Mahytec, promoted the COSMHYC project at the World Smart Energy Week in Osaka, Japan. The World Smart Energy Week in Osaka showcases the newest tech developments in hydrogen & fuel cell, photovoltaic and other renewable energies. Within COSMHYC Mahytec contributes to the development of an innovative compressing system, which will be able to deliver hydrogen at high pressures, while featuring outstanding efficiency and low manufacturing costs.
“Japan is at the forefront of the energy revolution and a key market for smart and sustainable technologies”, says Mathilde Bangoura, marketing officer at Mahytec. “Innovative compression solutions for hydrogen storage and refuelling stations as proposed by COSMHYC are therefore of great interest here”.
COSMHYC, which stands for “COmbined hybrid Solution of Multiple HYdrogen Compressors for decentralised energy storage and refuelling stations” is funded by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking in the framework of the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme.
