Milestone Achieved: Installation and Commissioning of the MHC Completed in Sorigny

The metal-hydride compressor deployed in the COSMHYC DEMO-project is now officially installed and operational.

We are pleased to announce the successful installation and commissioning of the Mechanical Hydrogen Compressor (MHC) at our hydrogen refueling station in Sorigny.

This marks a key technical milestone in the COSMHYC project, finalizing the deployment of the station’s hybrid compression system, which combines mechanical and thermochemical compression technologies to enable efficient and flexible hydrogen refueling.

The MHC plays a crucial role in the compression phase, ensuring a robust and scalable solution to meet growing hydrogen mobility needs. This innovative thermochemical compressor allows the station to operate with increased efficiency, lower energy consumption, and enhanced durability.

With commissioning now complete, the full hybrid system is operational and ready to support zero-emission mobility in the region.
